Terms of use
Last updated 2 October 2026 · På svenska
- Trackback is free, and in beta: things may change or break.
- You can play everything without an account.
- An account is for people aged 13 or older.
- Play fair, and pick a name you'd be happy for anyone to see.
Who runs Trackback
Trackback is made by Jacob Johansson in Sweden. Questions: hello@trackback.site. How we handle your data is in the privacy notice.
The game
Trackback is free to play. It's in beta, so games, rules and features can change, the site can be down now and then, and records can be lost. We try hard to avoid that, but we can't promise it.
Accounts
- An account is optional. Everything can be played without one.
- You need to be 13 or older to make one.
- One account per person, and it's yours alone. You sign in with codes sent to your email, so keep your email account safe.
- You can delete your account whenever you like.
Names
Your name is how friends will find you. It must not be hateful, sexual, threatening or pretend to be someone else (another person, us or Deezer). We may change a name that breaks this, and tell you why.
Playing fair
Please don't:
- use bots or tools that play or look up answers for you,
- try to break, overload or get around the protections of the game,
- copy the song previews, or the song list, to use elsewhere.
If an account breaks these terms, we may pause or close it. For anything but serious or repeated misuse, we'll warn you first.
The music
The 30-second previews and album covers come from Deezer and belong to their owners. They're only for listening while you play.
If something goes wrong
Trackback is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses caused by the game being down, changing or losing records. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer.
Changes and law
If these terms change, this page will show a new date, and we'll tell account holders about big changes before they apply. Swedish law applies, along with any consumer rights you have where you live.
